Contemporary Artist Kate Tribe’s Creative Success

Our branch-turned-art-gallery was full-house as we celebrated the opening of the latest exhibition by ArtSHINE Artist Kate Tribe. Our appreciation to artist Valerie Khoo for facilitating, also Tim and Nicky Stevens for sponsoring the opening celebration with their fabulous Huntington Estate wines created in the Mudgee region.

Kate Tribe’s works represent the activity of life and explore the regular movement of our bodies between locations and mentally between what is requiring our attention.

The exhibition has two series representing movement;‘ Commuter life’ is the paths and tracks we use when we travel, and particularly when commuting, it can become a circular or repetitive rhythm.

‘Being pulled and folded’ reflects the mental demands for our attention, where there is a constant tug or pull between the different parts that exist for us. All works completed using stranded cotton on Aida cloth.

Exhibition Dates: 1 May to 30 May 2024
Time: Monday – Fridays from 10:00am – 5:00pm
Where: Community Bank Darling Square, 11 Little Pier Street, Haymarket NSW 2009
Cost: Free entry

Presented by ArtSHINE, cofounder and fashion designer Vinh Van Lam shares a tip with rising talents, “Let your passion fuel the purpose that propels you toward your goals,”.

He adds, “We’re here to help you to take action, just like we’ve helped thousands of other entrepreneurs, business owners, and creative professionals all around the globe.”
