For lovers of arts and culture, the City of Sydney hosts the return of Sydney’s Comedy Festival (22 April to 19 May 2024), West Side Story at the Sydney Opera House and the 24th Biennale of Sydney, titled Ten Thousand Suns, which goes until 10 June 2024.

Lucky Draw: 2 x tickets to Hamilton The Musical

Community Bank Darling Square loves giving you experiences that also support the arts community. In this lucky draw, we want to send you and a guest to experience Hamilton The Musical.

A revolutionary story of passion, unstoppable ambition, and the dawn of a new nation. Hamilton is the epic saga that follows the rise of American founding father Alexander Hamilton as he fights for honour, love, and a legacy that shapes the course of a nation. Based on Ron Chernow’s acclaimed biography and set to a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B, and Broadway, Hamilton has had a profound impact on culture, politics, and education.

This Tony, Grammy, Olivier and Pulitzer Prize winning musical re-opens in Sydney in July 2024.

The Premier’s Harmony
Dinner celebrates local community heroes

We were pleased to be invited to the  NSW Premier’s Harmony Dinner. It was our first time and what an event it was at Sydney’s ICC! The room was full of leaders and changemakers who are making a difference in the community. The choir singing the national anthem in their own cultural attire captured the spirit of the event. Congratulations Multicultural NSW on a successful event!

Your Community Bank is pleased to have shared the experience with our guests and partners; NSW UN Association Australia – Dr Patricia Jenkings, Australia Slovenian Chamber of Commerce – Mateya Slobodnik, St George & Sutherland Medical Research Foundation – Dr Georgina Hold, SHARE – Adrian Prakash, Sydney Community Fund – Loredana Fyffe, and, PWN and Impact 100 Sydney founder – Alan Duncan.

Congratulations also to our community partner CASS Care for winning the 2024 Business Excellence award for Not For Profits.

Impact 100 Sydney launches eighth season

What happens when 100 people pool $1000 each to change the world? The result is that their donations create a single, major grant of $100,000 that will be awarded to a not-for-profit to implement evidence-based solutions to a major social issue.

Community Bank Darling Square is a proud supporter of this program and is thrilled to donate a minimum of $50,000 this year so that the not-for-profit organisation can make an even bigger impact on the world.
